It seems to be in human nature to push things. We can never seem to leave something alone.. we have to push and test it and see how far it’ll go.
The question is where and when to stop applying the pressure. Do you stop pushing after it breaks? By then it’s too late.
Do you stop pushing before? In that case you live forever with the possibility that it could have been stretched further and into more different ways than you could possibly imagine or hope for.
Are we inevitably destined to move from one situation to the next, stretching till they each break ad perpetuum?
Maybe Buddha was right.
