So the Tories want to “defy the European Court of Human Rights” with regards to prisoners getting the vote.
What a surprise.
“If you break the law, you cannot make the law” was what they declared in Parliament. If that’s the case, why are any of them still in power?
There’s a whole host reasons why prisoners should get the vote, but even aside from that issue, I fear the precedent that would be set if the Tories decide to refuse to comply.
It’s just the beginning. Mark my words.
