As part of my quest to shoot more portraits this year, I met up with Hannah yesterday to kick about Kelvingrove Park for an hour or so. By some kind of minor miracle it wasn’t pishing it down with rain, and I took the chance to try out a ‘new’ (old) manual focus Russian lens – the Helios 40-2 85mm f1.5. It does nice things to the colours. I rattled through a few rolls with my Yashica Mat 124G as well, so they’ll make an appearance at some point… though the prospect of having to scan and develop film again might delay that a tad.
