Pictures from the second weekend back at the Cathouse. There’s a design flaw with the 5D Classic’s battery grip which means it never quite properly detects the grip over time, as the contacts degrade or erode. It’s a pain in the arse, but licking the battery helps. You get a wee zap on the tongue, but hey. Live life on the edge.

Shocking, snapping a shot of that masked fellow in the white glasses, how disrespectful.
I think being a life long citizen of Glasgow is monumentally epic. One of the few cities with a profusion of green spaces with some of the best people on God’s green earth. When I first started following your blog, shooting film was the furthest thing that I would attempt. Fast forward to now , it has become another aspect of my photography and I have started printing B&W as well using T Max 100 film stock. Every time I look at your images there seems to be that underlying sense of something momentous lurking. Sort of what Anders Petersen did for his city and something which you’re prominently positioned to do the same in Glasgow. I’m not a collector but after reading your reviews my choice of cameras to use became very clear. Hasselblad and a Leica M3. Thank you Steve.
Thank you for such a kind and thoughtful comment!! That means a lot.
