Last year my parents moved to a tiny town called Wolfville in Nova Scotia. Since I was in Canada for RightsCon anyway, I took the chance to pop over on the way back and visit them… part of the beauty of working remotely. The town kind of felt like a cross between somewhere in the East Neuk, and a rural part of the American Mid-West. There were vineyards, lots of brightly coloured wooden houses, just a couple of pubs, and some of the best cider I’ve ever tasted. Even their psycho dog didn’t attempt to kill me this time.
