I’ve already shared a bunch of posts with pictures from my trip to Athens in February, but in addition to all of that, I also thought it was probably about time that I cracked out some of my stock of Neopan 1600. It is now sadly discontinued, but remains my all-time favourite film – and I have a fairly sizable number of rolls squirreled away. The problem is that I’ve been saving these for special occasions… and now they are clearly beginning to deteriorate. Not quite as punchy or contrasty or… responsive to light as they once were.

I didn’t really shoot the Neopan with any kind of consistency on this trip – jumping between different formats. That has meant that the images lack a bit of coherence – more of a smattering of similar shots than anything especially interesting, but they have sat in my drafts for too long. So here they are, without oodles of commentary. More for posterity than anything else.
