Ever since I first went to Colorado, people have been talking about going to Tiny Town. This is essentially a… well… ‘tourist attraction’ in the middle of nowhere with lots of miniature houses. There was once a tiny train crash, which people found hilarious. Apparently it was actually quite serious, but given that the train in question tipped over after taking a corner at ‘between 12 and 17mph’, it’s understandable.
What was less understandable was the weather; turning from sun to hail in a manner of minutes of us arriving. I’ve seriously never seen hail this big. Golf balls? Try lumps of ice the size of footballs. I can still feel them running down my back.
