This weekend past saw the wedding of some old pals from school days – Grant and Jen.
The sun shone brightly down on Ayr, sandwiched in between two days of rain, and it made the colours seem even brighter than they do normally. It’s the first wedding I’ve been to since our own just a few months ago, and that made everything take on a whole new perspective and meaning. The ceremony and vows were infused with Grant and Jen’s down-to-earth humour, and I was really pleased to be there. Hopefully we’ll get to see more of each other soon.
I didn’t take too many pictures until the meal was over and the wine had started to flow, and at that point I’m not even sure if it was me using the camera any more. Either way, everyone looked great – though I clearly need a hair cut.
