FOE – King Tut’s – 2nd October 2011

Meet the wonderful Hannah Clark, aka FOE.

Every so often, an artist comes along that makes you stop in your tracks with just how creative and inspired they are. Every so often you come across these people that are just so in tune with what they do that it’s as if they were handcrafted to do it. The sort of music that you can’t help but play over and over and over and discover something new every time.

Hannah’s definitely one of those people. By a rather strange kink of fate she comes from the same wee English town as my pals Hold Your Horse Is and Shoes and Socks Off. How much talent can one tiny place spit out? There must be something in the water.

Regardless, she finally made the journey north of the border to play in King Tut’s, and I’m glad she did. If I had the choice, I’d rather see bands like FOE over and against the massive arena superstars of rock – every single time.

More photos available over on my site, and the ‘proper’ review online at Artrocker.com.
